Joy Unspeakable

Thank you for praying Sis. Tammi!! I dont think I've ever been that sick before. It was horrible! Body aches, chills and sweats, headache, sore throat, sore ears, nausea, mmmm I think that’s it. Today, I just have this nagging cough that making me sound like a man when I talk. *smile*

Oh and guessa what!? I get to be a bridesmaid! A friend of mines wedding it is this June. Her fiancé is going over to Iraq in July, and they want to be husband and wife before he leaves. I guess you could say she’s not your typical girl. She has no idea what she wants for her wedding, no colors, no ideas on where to have it held….nothin….she’s pretty much begged me to help. I couldn’t be more tickled!!!! Even though I have not a clue as to what I'd actuelly do for my own wedding. I’ve had so many ideas running threw my head for years. It’ll be a blast!

Well, I’m off to bed. Saturday I’m going to go threw and read everyone’s blogs. See whatcha all have been up too! :=)

Lately I have just been overwhelmed with how good God is. I’m not just talking about the new job, or new apartment (which is dream come true! *smile*). I’m thankful for my family, and the joy and peace GOD has given me. My soul is happy!! Life can get REALLY hard…and there had been several times in the past few months where I’ve begged God to just take me home. I was tired….in so many ways. I think for our whole family, this scripture has been at the forefront… Isaiah 40:29-31

(29) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he in-creaseth strength.

(30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall utterly fall:

(31) BUT they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I can’t even imagine life with out God. He always holds true to His promises!! Has the song says, “There is joy unspeakable”! I am thankful for Him beyond words!!!!

We got the apartment!!! It didn't happen exactly the way I was expecting, but it happened. VERY EXCITED!! Tonight I'm going to take cloths over and start hanging things up...outside of our beds and dressers that pretty much all we have. I had been collecting things in Menomonie, but when we moved I sold a lot. So we won't have a lot to begin with, but thats ok. WE"LL HAVE OUR OWN ROOMS!!!* huge smile!*

I have a headache....I don’t know why, I keep getting these awful headaches. They normally start at the same time of day too. When we first moved here I thought they were related to stress, but now…even though the large stresses are gone….I’m still getting them frequently. Pray for me if you get a chance….headaches are so hard to function with sometimes…..


Well, I’m sure you have seen Jenna’s blog! :=) I’m WAY excited about this apartment!! This has been a Loooooong time coming for me. Most girls my age have their own kitchen and whatnot. Every year I’d say this is the year I’ll move out, I can think of three times where it was in the works, but something always happened to prevent it. Right now, is perfect…Jenna is wanting to move out also, were in the past I had to find an apartment cheap enough or have a roommate (which I was not thrilled about). Also, with our new jobs we can afford it comfortably…which is a HUGE blessing! There still is a chance that we won’t get it…..we both want it sooo bad….but, I know if we don’t get THIS apartment God has a reason.

I took a vacation day today because of my headache….also, I had to use it or lose it when I leave to go to my new job. It’s almost 7 a.m., but I think I’m going to head back to bed and try sleeping it off. ;=)

Well, this is interesting....Devon is over, Joeys boyfriend. We are sitting here watching cartoons; at noon we are going to pick Jo up from work. He’s a good kid in all...he’s come from a bad home life...and a catholic background. It’s fun to watch him in our church, he’s totally into it! He keeps saying how dad is so “intense”. It’s funny....


Kasey, my title is a Customer Service Agent (CSA). To be honest I have not a clue has to what it all involves. I keep getting a picture of those ticket agents in there little dresses. *smile*

Bekah, I start training on April 16th. Its three weeks in classroom and two weeks on the job training. On all tests I have receive a 90% or better. I also know, I have to memorize all the city codes for Alaska air and Horizon air before class starts. There is a ton, but it’ll be fun!!

Oh! And Sis. Tammi, Jenna and I will have to come and visit you on a long weekend. ;=)


I guess we are having some youth function tonight at the house. So that means cleaning.... I better get started. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I’m so excited!!! I got hired on to Alaska Airlines!!!! I guess that is the way God works…. just when you get content with what you have….what you want falls in your lap. It was the most interesting interview process that I’ve ever been threw. It started off as a group interview, with about twenty five. Sixteen were chosen….then from there were two more separate individual interviews. In all, six were chosen. All of it started at 8:45 in the morning and it didn’t get done until 5:45 that evening, but it was SOOOO nice to find out the same day!

I’m trying to find a right way of phrasing this…but…it’s so nice to have a relationship with God! During the whole thing I wasn’t nerves at all. I knew if God wanted me to have it I would…..if He didn’t, well…then He had another better plan. There is such peace in that promise!!!

Wanna know what else!!!??? Dad got hired on as well!!!! The poor guy had to work nights last night for Fed Ex. Then go to his interview this morning. I was praying for him because I knew how draining it all was. Praise the Lord though!!! He went in at 10 a.m. and had the job by 12 noon! :=)

So we are both tickled silly!!! :=)

Well...let’s try this again....Jenna said she’d make me a pretty layout, but until then this will do. =) Lately, I have been addicted to myspace! I’ve been thinking about deleting it, because it’s getting unhealthy! ;=) Where, blogland is healthy and edifying!!!!! *smile* So that’s why I’m back.....

It seems like years since we moved here to Alaska.....and it seems like I have aged a hundred years! I have the gray hair to prove it!!! In reality we have only been here six months.....I work at Office Depot in the Cash Office and as a Cashier. No where near what I would like to be doing. I’m praying that things will work out to go back to school this fall for nursing. I really don’t see why it wouldn’t. Despite the fact that I pretty much hate my job, I have made some pretty amazing friends there. I can’t even express how thankful I am for them....help me pray that I can be the witness I need to be. I keep feeling there is a reason why I’m there, despite my continually trying to get out.

Tonight, a few of us went out to Golden Coral for dinner. I laughed so hard I was crying!!! For three hours we sat and laughed and laughed!!!! Man, it felt good!!!!!!! I think laughter is a REALLY good gift from God!!! ;=)

Well, I suppose...it’s almost 12 a.m. and I have to get up at 6 a.m. for work. Yuk. I’m soooooooooooo not a morning person!! It should be interesting trying to sleep with all that sweet tea I had tonight!!! *smile*
